Quicken made it easy, but co-mingling the funds defeats the purpose of the LLC. What do I use for my personal record-keeping (bookkeeping)? QuickBooks does not track personal expenses, but I will file a Sch C and 1040.These may seem like fundamental questions but: The tax forms will not change, but I want to start using QuickBooks for my business income and expenses. My own CPA has now recommended that I set up a single-member LLC for liability purposes. This was handled easily in Quicken Home and Business. I would also pay my business expenses from my personal account. I have a separate bank account for my business, but occasionally my income would be deposited into my personal account. I have previously used Quicken Home and Business for my record keeping.
